We hear the word “cancer” and we gasp, go into shock that we even have it, maybe break down here and there, then worry starts to set in (what going to happen to my spouse, children and family). How do we handle this worry and our cancer diagnosis (what type of cancer do I have) and prognosis (can it be cured and if not how long do I have)? The harshness of this cancer can always have a positive outcome, whether we feel it is simply bad or turn it on its head and believe it can be good.
